Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto International Airport, located 40 kilometers southeast of Luanda, serves as the main international airport for the capital city of Angola. It is a key project jointly built by China and Angola in the field of aviation infrastructure, with Aviation Industry Corporation of China as the contractor. The airport has a capacity of handling 15 million passengers and 130,000 tons of cargo annually, aiming to become a vital transportation hub in southwest Africa. On November 10, 2023, the airport held its inauguration ceremony in Luanda, marking the official commencement of its cargo operations.
Given the scale of such a large airport, there was a pressing need for a reliable and modern parking system to meet the parking management requirements for high traffic volume, and this is where JIESHUN excels. Through multiple communications with the airport management, JIESHUN customized a dedicated parking solution based on the actual needs. The entire parking lot is divided into 14 entrances and exits, equipped with state-of-the-art C Plus Ticket Parking Controllers and robust JSDZ0206B barriers, along with six Automatic Pay Stations, providing a premium parking experience for vehicle owners. To cater to the local usage habits, JIESHUN developed a Portuguese language management software that makes parking management and operations more convenient.
JIESHUN's excellent automated parking system offers seamless parking experiences for vehicle owners. They can independently enter the parking lot and use the self-payment kiosks to settle parking fees before leaving, greatly enhancing user experience. The fully automated system also reduces the need for manual intervention by the operations team. Moreover, the parking system helps streamline traffic within the airport, improving traffic efficiency and reducing congestion. Finally, the management software provides clear operational data reports to optimize operations and support decision-making for parking lot management personnel.
