Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, formerly known as Salisbury Airport, was established in 1956. Located 15 kilometers south of Harare City, the capital of Zimbabwe, this airport serves as the primary gateway into the country and a natural entry point into Southern Africa. With a runway that spans 4,725 meters in length and 46 meters in width, Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport is the largest airport in Zimbabwe.
The airport features an international passenger terminal capable of handling 2 million passengers annually, along with a domestic passenger terminal designed to accommodate 500,000 passengers. Moreover, a parking lot with a capacity of 500 vehicles has been constructed to cater to the parking needs of travelers.
To enhance the parking system at the airport, JIESHUN recently implemented an upgrade. By installing C PLUS parking controllers and robust boom barriers, the parking system now effectively manages vehicle access, preventing unauthorized entry, reducing congestion, and improving overall traffic efficiency. The controllers support both ticket and IC card credentials, allowing management to efficiently handle both temporary users and monthly card users. Additionally, the system offers maximum convenience to managers and users alike, enhancing user interaction and integrating automatic pay stations. With the option to make advance payments, drivers can enjoy a seamless parking experience.
With JIESHUN's assistance, the parking system at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport has been optimized, providing enhanced convenience, improved security, and efficient traffic flow for all visitors.
