Super Brand Mall boasts a large parking lot with approximately 7,900 parking spaces. However, given the scale of the parking facility, the mall faced significant management and operational challenges. To ensure the smooth operation of the parking lot, a reliable and efficient parking system was required. In 2016, the mall partnered with JIESHUN to implement a comprehensive parking solution, which included a parking system, parking guidance system, and self-service payment system. With the support of License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, customers can now enjoy a seamless and autonomous parking experience without the need for manual intervention.
The parking guidance system provides real-time information on available parking spaces, guiding drivers quickly and efficiently to vacant spots, which is especially crucial for such a large parking lot. Furthermore, by accurately tracking the occupancy of each parking space, the system enables better planning and allocation of parking resources, maximizing the utilization of available spaces and generating additional revenue.
The comprehensive solution also contributes to a sustainable future. Drivers can conveniently make their parking payments at automatic pay stations before leaving the parking lot, promoting a self-service approach. Additionally, by reducing the time spent searching for parking, the system minimizes unnecessary vehicle idling and circling, leading to a reduction in emissions and a greener world.
